I promise to do the best that I can

with every problem, an helping hand

to be there when you need me most

I’ll always be there like a guard on post;

I promise to do the best that I can

to treat you always like a man

but if that ass get out of line

best believe that ass is mine;

But I promise to do the best I can

to stay in touch, I’ll give my hands

look at you, my lil’ man growing fast

this fathers’ love will never past;

So my son, I promise to do the best I can!!!
