Right now the world is not at peace

Therefore we must reunite and the wars brought to a cease

Even though life continues

March at a pace

I prayed that Obama keep his word to make a change

After he won his second presidential race

The government is corrupt and our penal system sinking

Federal judges handout life sentences without a blink.

Why is the price of gas always sky high

Is Iraq and Russia really cuffing or

Is it all another United States lie

So people without jobs

So many children mouths to feed

Soldiers going to war because of our country’s greed

Cocaine and weed are banned

They’re consider drugs

But look what’s really killing us

Beer and cigarettes

It’s sold at all public clubs

One simple conclusion is that

It’s all about the solar sign

Nasdaq and Dow Jones are on an economical grind

Prison population is rising cause we’re are found guilty before

Our first appearance in court

Pay checks aren’t enough so our women
Resort to child’s support

We the minority are broke

So the judge can’t be brought

Sent straight to the joint without a lesson to be taught

No money for a private lawyer retainer

We’re issued public defenders

But us street people know they just public pretenders

So every now and then

I start to think

Will this nation ever rise again

Our will it continue to sink!
