If we are born a defenseless child and die a wise being, why is is that the flesh hurts so much when one dies, why do we feel such sorrow and sadness when we know once we die we really begin to live life; That life, doesn’t end the moment the heart stops beating, that life as we know it may begin then. The feeling of emptiness is temporary, but the void is eternal. Like a child gripping on to hope, we can only pray for fortitude, that the flesh finds peace with the heart and mind.
