Wedding Cake
Who could foretold that what I know now you already knew, like the epicenter of when the truth becomes true, where old things cycles to the new, look, I’ve chopped the Tree of Life just to make a throne for you, please sit, let’s have an apple cider brew, if eternity permits let’s have two, we can decipher the difference between feelings and thoughts until the morning’s dew, toasting ’til our Time is due, swinging on the belt of Orion, we watched the Earth revolve around the Sun, I was a bullet proof vest you was a gun, Life kept pulling the trigger for fun, ummm, what an ass with class, we both laughed and cried at the sum, Love is a blast, it bares daughters and sons, yields the pros and the cons, who can untold the details of this fairy-tale that we’ve known, undo all the doing that we’ve done, agape was the bait, the ego’s dragon on the horizon, took my vest off to show you I’m the one, then bang, I’m dripping cold blood floating out in Space, what is faith in the sight of fate, for Louis’s sake let them eat wedding cake, somethings are better left unsaid until there’s nothing right to say.
