“I see You…”
I see you, but do you see me, I’m in the back fist up in the air screaming free black, then black got out of jail and shot me in the back for a stack, I guess black had bills to pay back, so he paid it with my life and put me on my flight, what a shame, I didn’t even get a chance to pack my bags and say goodbye to my peoples, Yikes! Se la vie, guns cocking over principle, now my righteous Kings are on a duck hunt, ongoing plight, what a vicious cycle, here goes the traditional black on black fight, economic deprivation doesn’t matter alright, it’s a race war go fly a kite, keep the rich far from the poor, out of mind out of sight, eventually they’ll eat each other out of spite, if you’re in the hood reading this on site, this should fizzle your spirit like a fresh can of Sprite, unless you’re on that Coca Cola white, if these words doesn’t cut you deep enough to bleed change, how are you going to feel the point of this knife that I’m trying to poke you with, I see you, but do you see me, I’m in the back fist up in the air screaming free black. I’m Pharaoh Pip, I'm a syndicated blogger for Witish. I’ve been writing pretty much all of my Life, everywhere that I've gone, all that I’ve seen, things that I’ve heard, things that I've experienced, felt and thought of--all goes in to my writing process. I’m constantly writing and jotting down ideas & concepts in my head, a lot of that data is stored for long periods of time before they ever turn into rhythmic words in a sentence. Therefore the process of writing is always therapeutic for me; to get those things off of my chest into existence is like sharing my WiFi connection with you, that’s why my writings are somewhat all over the place subject matter wise. I don’t consider myself the quote end quote this type of writer, that only writes this type of way, I just like to write from the heart. What ever God puts on my Spirit the heaviest, I write about.
