Poem: Fade To Black

“Fade To Black…”

Secretly my heart cries out to you

Silently calling you…

Yearning to have the love you regretfully give to him

Hoping that one day without words,

The language of love would guide us to eternal paradise

His lies shield you from the truth

Enclosing you within his fortress of deceit

So while you are trapped within his vice grip,

My heart grows as cold like an endless arctic winter

As day turns to night and nights into days,

I too disappear from your world into nothingness…
