Matter Matters. By Pharaoh Pip

What’s the Matter? I’m not sure, a lot of little things; what gave my discontentment away? Well, I’m not sure how to re-paint that picture for you, but it’s painted all over your face. Ok, point taken, I guess the old saying is true, “as a man thinketh, so is he”.

Yep, you’re right about that, your discontent is written all over your face indeed. Anyhow, can I help at all, do you want to talk about it? I’m a pretty good listener, I can’t promise you any good advice, but I can listen. Sigh, well, I guess I can; only if you promise not to interrupt and chime in during my spill. Maybe then I can try my best to articulate my dissatisfactions to you; deal? Yes, deal.

Ok, first off, Matter Matters… Wait what…? No, don’t say anything yet, you promised; hear me out. Sigh, okay, go on.

Thanks.

Matter Matters, I’m a bit distraught about the condition of my fellow Patrons, specially the one’s of the lower pay grades of our civilization. They’re uneducated; I’m not implying education from any particular institution standpoint here either; just basic education, wrongs-rights, good-bad, who, what, when, where, how-education. I guess what I’m alluding to here is what we call; basic “Common Sense”. It isn’t quite common anymore, kind of like getting an Android device without Google Play or an Apple device without the App Store. It’s not just the hardware itself that makes it a smart device, it’s the combination of the software applications that it processes that makes it a smart device.

Are you catching my drift? Just nod please, ok, thank you.

Nonetheless, we’re all flawed and have our own personal shortcomings, mindsets that needs bug fixing and updated perspectives. All races, sex, creeds, types and statutes have their highs & lows, but education, knowing, is always the equaliser, a mediator, a common ground. Knowing is what sparks evolution.

Now, do you know? What do you know? The deal breaker of all; how much of what you know do you process regularly. Example, we’re having a light conversation, in the midst, you mentioned the need of $5 dollars, at that instant, I go in my pocket and I offer you $1 dollar, now, which person are you?

1) The person who delays to take it and say thank you, because you’re thinking to yourself, dang that’s not enough, I need more than that.

2) The person who delays to take it and say thank you, because you’re too skeptical of other’s intentions, thinking that there’s a hook to everything.

3) The person who delays to take it and say thank you, because you’re too prideful to receive help; thinking that it’s also an insult to be offered less than what you mentioned in the first place.

4) The person who smiles and sincerely says thank you before taking it, because you’re appreciative of the thought and gesture of giving; thinking that I didn’t have to offer it, even though it’s not enough, it’s $1 closer to the $5 in need.

Which one are you?

Well, here’s the terms & conditions of all; how much of what you know do you process in the midst of interactions. It determines whether or not your momentum will shift for your good or for your bad. Real time processing Matters.

In all 4 cases and personality traits, unbeknownst to you, I’m handing you my last dollar, plus; I have need of it myself. Big things looks small from a distance. Question is, does it Matter? Selah.

“Matter Matters.” | Written By Pharaoh Pip

I’m Pharaoh Pip, I'm a syndicated blogger for Witish. I’ve been writing pretty much all of my Life, everywhere that I've gone, all that I’ve seen, things that I’ve heard, things that I've experienced, felt and thought of--all goes in to my writing process. I’m constantly writing and jotting down ideas & concepts in my head, a lot of that data is stored for long periods of time before they ever turn into rhythmic words in a sentence. Therefore the process of writing is always therapeutic for me; to get those things off of my chest into existence is like sharing my WiFi connection with you, that’s why my writings are somewhat all over the place subject matter wise. I don’t consider myself the quote end quote this type of writer, that only writes this type of way, I just like to write from the heart. What ever God puts on my Spirit the heaviest, I write about. Selah
