As an Artist… you have to always learn to trust the process and trust your own business model because many will try influencing you to rush your ownership right into the hands of these industry monsters then you end up getting spun around till you’re dizzy, confused and lost on some 360 shit all because you trying to follow the quick come up trend instead creating a business model for yourself so when you do run into these industry monsters they understand that they’re dealing with a business man not some thirsty young artist that will drink any but thing because it looks good. battery acid looks like water remember that. Only way to win is by keeping owner ship of your precious work you created. All these new rappers are being tricked into 3 and 4 deals at once not owning shit but a few dollars and life is more then that. It may take longer but creating a wave not easy but at least you know there’s no disturbance because you’re riding a lone. Be an artist not a follower.
I'm Marvel Saffold, I'm a Witblogger out of Riviera Beach, FL. I'm also a Rapper, many years ago I wasn't aware of the power of literature. Specially my literature, until I started exploiting writing in different format--from music to poetry. Having made that transition--I even surprised myself many of times.
The real kicker is I tasted the power prior--in the 9th Grade. I will forever love Ms. Saunders, my English Teacher at William T. Dwyer; because it was then, in her Class that I started mastering writing literature. Years later I'm finally realizing how much of an influence Her Class had in my writing process even in music. I found myself using all that I've learned from Ms. Saunders. I love writing no matter what it is.
