“Untitled…”

Times have changed…

Many summers and fall have passed

The days of yesterday are no more

As tomorrow patiently waits to be discovered.

The shy, timid, young boy within me that can’t let go the past,

Now is forced into adulthood and a daunting future.

Sometimes I wish I could return to the days of yesterday

To the days when life was so easy and care-free

When being young felt so invigorating

No longer is anyone here to guide me through the trials of life

Adulthood awaits me…

An inevitable fate of all who fear growing up

And I have already lost my way.
