My Apology
“My Apology”
I apologize, forgive me, please accept my apology, it took time, I was blind but clearly now I can see, that it truly takes more strength to humble down and simply say I’m sorry, pride amongst lovers & friends company is weaknesses within their individual personalities, unchecked it can infest the mind till it’s dark and cloudy, polluting the atmosphere with negative fantasies, bearing the soul down to neutrality, loneliness is symptomatic to the penalty, a broken family, isolation, no visitation, child support and alimony, just a few side effects of arrogance ultimately, Kings if it costs you your Kingdom then it was not bravery, it takes courage to get down on your knee and admit guilt to the guilty, my ladies, if the wages of a man not apologizing leaves a child not seeing their papi then Queen how are you yourself guilt free, you share the symptoms pridefully, stop going to court and committing perjury, adding insult to personal injury, the notion that a woman doesn’t use the judge to flex her pride is blatant fallacy, eyes teary, you convinced Lady Justice to take off her blindfold and fling her scale with force at the ex hubby, with no remorse of course, legally scaling your kid’s father to just a baby’s daddy, oh democracy hath no fury over a woman scorn, the system lacks empathy, but that’s another story, we both know that I was wrong, so to you I’m dedicating this here poem, calmed and lowly, that moment of utter silence before you answer me is my symphony, I’m not here looking for any sympathy, no baby this is my testimony, please for a minute let me right these wrongs just take a seat, can I sing you this song…. amazing grace, how sweet the sound of my apology, please forgive a wretch like me. Selah
