Every Day is Mother’s Day

“Every Day is Mother’s Day”

How can I be satisfied with only one day to celebrate…
My first love..
My first kiss and first hug..
Before I could say thank you..

You gave me everything without having everything…

Simply…
Your tender touch..
I remember such feelings of healing..
The Comfort’s appealing to my soul..
Revealing the old memories of gold..
9 months of pain untold..
As the story of my life unfold
with your TLC tucked in the console..
Momma got my back and front sowed..
On this ride, we traveled a long road..
Feeling safe…

For my survival, you went places others wouldn’t go..

The sacrifices you’ve made..
I don’t know..
if they were right and or wrong…

but I never strayed off, because I know where I belong..

Never disrespect…
Naw never that..
thankful for the times we had..
they will never be matched…

I’m so attached to you until I marry my soul mate..
I only trust your promises..
because I know that you will never be less than honest.
and with every word you express cause my heart to seethe..
out of control when it’s you that I need, but you’re out of reach..

A wonderful woman you are..
My superstar…
There’s no how..
no way..
that I can pay back all the love you gave..
Therefor I face the facts..

that you are the most important face that I’ve ever embraced..

I never walk alone because of the love you paved.
I love you Momma..
To me…

Every day is mother’s day

I'm Marvel Saffold, I'm a Witblogger out of Riviera Beach, FL. I'm also a Rapper, many years ago I wasn't aware of the power of literature. Specially my literature, until I started exploiting writing in different format--from music to poetry. Having made that transition--I even surprised myself many of times. The real kicker is I tasted the power prior--in the 9th Grade. I will forever love Ms. Saunders, my English Teacher at William T. Dwyer; because it was then, in her Class that I started mastering writing literature. Years later I'm finally realizing how much of an influence Her Class had in my writing process even in music. I found myself using all that I've learned from Ms. Saunders. I love writing no matter what it is.
