Fatherhood Part. 5

“Being a Father Series”

Being in your child’s life before they breach the birth canal plays a major roll on the mental level of the relationship between you and your child’s mother. Reason being is that it’s a vital time for her and the child growing inside of her. Less stress is better for any Pregnant woman, you being present plays a foundational roll mentally and emotionally for that child’s mother, your presence will give her the much needed security, self confidence and re-assurement when those hormones/ mood swings kicks in, thereby even if you both end up separating later on in life, she will always remember you sticking by her through those hardships and tough times during the pregnancy for as long as she lives.

Think about it Kings, you will be apart of those vital memories, so being there post child birth is a great benefit for her personal thoughts of you as a man not just as the father of her child. She will recognize that you’ve been there in her most vulnerable states as a woman, therefore her appreciation and regard for you will produce less drama after childbirth. Trust me, drama free is not promised, y’all will be as 1 forever and a day because of y’all child, but Kings; it doesn’t mean that you both can effortlessly drop you’ll pride and be civil as friends while making an easier path towards raising your child together as a couple or apart as co-parents. Either way, as a King, be stern and just be there regardless.

I'm Marvel Saffold, I'm a Witblogger out of Riviera Beach, FL. I'm also a Rapper, many years ago I wasn't aware of the power of literature. Specially my literature, until I started exploiting writing in different format--from music to poetry. Having made that transition--I even surprised myself many of times. The real kicker is I tasted the power prior--in the 9th Grade. I will forever love Ms. Saunders, my English Teacher at William T. Dwyer; because it was then, in her Class that I started mastering writing literature. Years later I'm finally realizing how much of an influence Her Class had in my writing process even in music. I found myself using all that I've learned from Ms. Saunders. I love writing no matter what it is.
